Frosty Fun with Overnight - Kettle Run Closed and filled.

It's never too cold to play outside, build a nice warm fire, and do a little outdoor cooking. This is a sun or flurry event.
Cost: $12 / girl. For girls in grades 4 - 5.
Program Aide Training for the Outdoors - Oak Spring
March 4th 10:00AM - 4:00PM
Learn how to teach and lead outdoor skills! This does not replace the PA training, but is the next component if you're interested in working at camp.
Cost: none There are plenty of spaces left. Registration closes soon!
For girls in grades 7 - 12.
Junior Fun with Horses - Kingston
March 9th from 6:30PM - 8:30PM

Heat It UP - Kettle Run
March 16th - March 18th from 7:00PM on Friday through 11:00AM on Sunday
Weekend camping experience for Junior and Cadette troops. Leaders must have completed Outdoor Skills Overnight. Troop needs certified first aider. Adult ratio is necessary; extra adults take away girl spaces. Troops will be responsible for Friday dinner before arrival and Saturday breakfast. Troops will sharing buildings. Workshops will include outdoor cooking, hiking, winter ecology and games.
Cost: $25.00 / girl $5 / adult Registration closes 2/24 or when filled. There are about 30 spaces left.
For girls in grades 4-8.
Advanced Outdoor Cooking - Inawendiwin
March 31st from 10:00AM - 4:00PM
Make culinary delights as you cook in the great outdoors! Learn how to cook without all foth comforts of home. Put your skills to the test and see what a good chef your are - without a stove!

Flog Slog - Stony Brook - Millstone Watershed
April 21st from 7:30PM - 10:00PM
Evening flashlight explorations around the pond. Activities will include a service project, campfire and storytelling....and smores!

Just added! Wet and Wild - Stony Brook - Millstone Watershed
May 12th Session 1 from 9:30AM - 11:30AM for girls in grades 4 - 5
Session 2 from 12:30PM - 2:30PM for girls in grades 6-8
Bring your boots so you're ready to get wet and dirty as we explore the Watershed Pond. Discover the importance of water on its journey from place to place - it's the great wet highway for thousands of living things - including you and me! Become a scientist as you use a seine or plankton net to explore life in the pond. Participants will recieve the "Girls Who Look Under Rocks" patch and a "Rock" (This program is part of a series of outdoor discovery programs. Look for more programs and earn additional "Rocks")

May 11th - May 13th from 6:00PM on Friday through 11:00AM on Sunday
Boys at Girl Scout camp? This isn't just another tall tale. Come camping for this weekend full of fun and crazy competitions. Arrive Friday evening in time for our welcome activity and wake up Saturday morning for a day filled with games. End your busy Saturday in the dining hall with DJ Frank playing all your favorite tunes. Sunday morning ends our weekend with an award ceremony.
