Celebration 2012 is an International Friendship Exchange that started 25 years ago with Girl Guides from England and continues today - and it's just around the corner! July 27 – August 9, 2012 will be our Council’s ongoing International Exchange with England.
There are several ways to take part in Celebration 2012. The Kettle Run camping and the trip to Washington have separate costs. Applicants may do both or just one OR be a host for home hospitality.
There is home hospitality from the time of arrival on July 27 through July 29.
There is one week of camp (July 29 to August 4) at Camp Kettle Run in Medford. (Additional cost)
Participants will again enjoy home hospitality until leaving for a 2 day Washington, DC trip on Aug. 6 & 7. (Additional cost)
Home hospitality ends on August 9th.
Choose to do everything or just part.
This event is for girls (must finish 6th grade by June 2012) and adults.
