Camp Activities include the description of activities available to weekend campers or people using one of our properties on a Saturday. Activities are available May - June and September - October, weather permitting.
For the safety of all participants, certified staff are required for some activities and we are happy to provide lifeguards and archery instructors.
 
Please note:
All activities must be scheduled and paid for at least two weeks in advance.  

Availability: April, May, June, September, and October at all camps

Geocaching
Availability: any month, at all camps. Recommended for grades 4 and up.
There are several non-published Girl Scout caches located at each camp. There are official caches located at parks and nature areas nearby each of the camps.

GPS units are available for rental to troops for $25.00 , with security of $100 / unit held against renter's personal credit card. 2-week advance notice is necessary. 
 
The GPS units do not come pre-programmed with coordinates of Girl Scout caches. Instruction book on how to use the GPS units is included with rental. Basic understanding of Geocaching and GPS use is extremely beneficial when planning this for a group activity.   
 
Hayrides
Availability: May, June, September, and October
Enjoy a ride around Inawendiwin, Oak Spring or Sacajawea as the evening starts to settle.  
Each wagon ride can accommodate 15-20 people per trip. Cost per group: $20/Girl Scout, $40/Public
 
Letterboxing
Availability: any month, at all camps. Recommended for grades 4 and up.
Navigate your way through camp and discover new sites, fun tidbits and ways to use a compass and a map.  Groups will need pencils/compass for this activity.  
 
Availability: June only at Inawendiwin, Kettle Run, Oak Spring and Sacajawea.
Certified Lifeguards required.
